A temperature transmitter is essentially a form of amplifier, filtering, conditioning and boosting the signal for better reception at the place where the temperature is read. Thermocouple or RTD wires are connected directly to the transmitter which scales the input to a 4 to 20 mA output signal, a voltage such as 0 to 10 Vdc or a digital output such as RS232, RS485, and Modbus®.
Explosion proof and weather proof transmitters are expensive device. Repairing a unit will be cheaper than buying a new one, but more time savings are associated. Our service team will repair your equipment on site , or if ist not possible , at our international repair centers equipped with the advanced test instrumentation and tools. In repairing your equipment, we use only original parts, and we will calibrate and adjust your instruments according to manufacturer’s specifications.
